Is it wrong that I don't 'remember it SO vividly, what a horrid day'
I feel terrible for the people who died but come on. It's been what? 9 years? GET OVER IT AMERICA.
I'm sorry if you had a loved one die. You deserve to be sad and remember and all that jazz but honestly it just shows how insecure our country is. I'm sure I'm gonna get flamed like hell has exploded all over this journal, but for reals I wouldn't have even remembered today was, "GASP 9/11!" if people hadn't been talking about it all day long.
So yeah, it was tragic and sucked. It's over and it's been over for a long time. I hate that I can't take my fucking shampoo on an airplane because of this shit. XD
So, get pissed if you want but I think I have a valid point and no amount of, "But we need to remember those we lost" is gonna change my mind. If things get too out of hand I'll b'aaawlete the journal. ^^

Me and my dad were talking about it though. We both agree it's time to move on. Lingering on things is unhealthy. And country wide lingering can't be good for anyone. lol

i respect that you have an opinion and i dont have to agree with it but my opinion is that we need to respect the memory of those who died instead of just saying "move on, its 9/11 so what?" i find it rude personally.
But that's just me and I respect your opinion as well. ^^
The only reason I remember the day is because I come from a family of firefighters and soldiers but I don't linger on it too much.
