Well, I just got off the phone with an HP case manager. Aside from being extremely polite and understanding, she also worked with the system to get me what I've been after for ages! A REPLACEMENT LAPTOP!!!!!

She said that she felt that they had given the repair center more than enough chances to save my laptop, and now was the time to replace it with a new/refurbished model. I was informed also that it will more than likely be a few models up from my current one and, now this is some good stuff here, because they no longer equip their comps with XP, I will be getting a free RAM upgrad4e and a free upgrade to Windows Vista!

I swear, I'm so excited right now, she also said the entire replacement process should take no longer than two weeks, I think I've died and gone to heaven..
