This weekend is the start of NASCAR's version of playoffs, the Chase for the Cup. It consists of 10 races and 12 drivers. The 10 races test your ability on all types of tracks: Short, Intermediate, Speedway, and SuperSpeedway. The points system for the Cup is that the top 12 drivers in the standings after 26 races, are in it. After the field of 12 are set, the points are reset to 5,000 points for each, but winners get 10 bonus points for every win they earned in the regular season. I can't list all 12 right now (not sure of everyone who made it) but I do know that Jeff Gordon, driver of the #24 chevrolet, is going to give them all hell on his way to (hopefuly) a 5th championship title. Btw, he's my favorite driver. Let the Chase for the Sprint Cup begin! GO GORDON!!!
