She is getting some problems with the admins because of it, so i just wanted to say:
The human body is wonderful, every part of it.
I've attended to art classes with nude models. I've drawn genitalia from real, and we all know it is not a crime.
Also, I've used nude and pornographic photos as reference for many of my pictures, and even some of my pictures are based on real sex experiences (gladly I have some).
I strongly believe that she is having problems because of the inherent puritanism and hypocrisy of our society that thinks that a vagina is more dangerous than a fur cub being raped by a gigantic plant shaped penis.
i dont know what else to say, only, try to support somehow the "Vulva Meme"
no, you know i luv u :D
also nice going bringing up the plight of imaginary animals in comparison to this
those people shouldnt have been banned in the first place.
I know where you're coming from, but it looks like you're thinking too highly of this community.
The vulva meme is PURELY an excuse to show off one's junk. It's not classy, or sensitive, or ANYTHING like that. I'm sure Lilliosa didn't instend it that way.
And this isn't just my opinion; it's fact.
Sure, that sucks, but unfortunately, nudity is still seen as erotica by the majority of the fandom.
Most of us are disgusted by this meme because we don't want to see women desperate for a fuck trying to bend the rules in order to display what they've got.
i believe the point that zombie dog was making was that it is within the rules since it is photo based and not photographic and that there is allot more questionable content being made on here so why is this being discriminated against.
i see the meme more as a feminine empowerment thing rather than a please fuck me thing. there is an element of "look at me", but that is there with any art you post in a public forum
I understand that some people is going to use only the sexual part of the meme, but it is the prohibition of it what bothers me, maybe I'm too much of an anarchist :)
anyway thx for tyour point of view, mostly cause i cannot understand this thing in all it complexity ^^
And also, I don't see any reason why people would want to attack her (she is a wonderful artist), I don't understand why people can't just not look at it if they don't like it instead of trying to act pious and forming a "Witch Hunt", so to speak.
^^
People can disagree and say that they don't want to see someone's vulva all right up in their face.
I don't give a shit about seeing genitalia. I've seen so much genitalia in my time that I'm desensitized to it.
It's this weird estrogen shower girl power attitude that's coming with it I just. People should be able to have their likes and dislikes, and posting a VULVA MEME on the INTERNET is just going to stir up a hive of hornets and people who are PERSONALLY going to seek it out to look for a chance to bitch about it.
And not everyone is comfortable with what they have for personal sexuality reasons, or even personal gender issues that they would not like to be reminded of when people are throwing this whole "girl power" attitude in their face.
I'll say it right now, I have gender issues of my own, and I have a resentment towards my body because of it, and I don't like to think that if I voiced my opinion I would be marked as some sort of weird woman hater or a "sad lost cause" because I developed an insecurity with my gender, and NOT because I don't appreciate my body for what it is.
Yes I believe that women deserve respect, because it's hard for someone who's female to be taken seriously on both the internet and in real life. However, this kind of isn't the way to do it. With the comments and the shit storms that I saw in the submissions it just boiled down to "Well too bad women are beautiful because I said so and if you don't think so then you're lost to the world, sorry.", which of course crudely translates to "My opinion is right and you're wrong deal with it.".
I of course love the message that this meme is trying to portray, that all women have a beauty to them no matter what, because there is truth to that. However, it was the execution that bothered me. You can't say all women have beauty and then rush in with a bullheaded argument to anyone who might oppose you.
Again, I have no problem with nudity, I have no problem with ARTISTIC nudity, but let me tell you when I was drawing figures in Figure drawing I wasn't looking into their crotch going "Ok now let me draw your vulva please".
The whole thing just came off to me as "Your vagina is beautiful NOW SHOW IT TO ME" which of course, I know the original creator didn't want to put across, she just wanted females to feel secure in themselves, but I hate to say it but that's the direction it went in.
Women should feel that they're beautiful not because of what their bodies look like by how they treat others. The same goes for everyone. Every human being has their own beauty, it's not just all vulvas and dicks, man.

Also your icon is absolutely adorable.
Shyguys Were the best Mario Character ever.
The problem is that this thing is being prohibited while other more agresive, sexual, and punishable things not. It is only that.
I think that the meme shouldnt be banned because of what it could become. I strongly believe it can do more good than bad.
And about the body, it's not beatuful because of canons, but because it is precious and unique. Treating others well will make your soul pretty, not your body.
Anyway, i understand that not everybody might like this meme (because of many reasons), but i dont like things being banned, only that.
Thx a lot for your point of view, different opinions are always a way to open the mind :)
