A well organized con with lots to do and held in an absolutely beautiful hotel/convention center. Last year the fursuit parade had almost a hundred participants. All the other bells and whistles I reckon you'd get at other cons. Have you checked out the website?

Yeah I checked their website before, but I wanna know what it's like to go as a attendee. I usually feel pretty alone when I go by myself.

RF is good. Average sized con. Id say look forward to hanging out with friends and meeting people that go? There are a few good panels and the location its held at is nice. They're upgrading to a Hilton next year. The theme this year is "Furst in so space" or some such.

I'd say go, I'm not going this year myself but it's a good con. If you don't go this year at least go next year since the new location should hopefully be a massive upgrade. And since you're local too from the sound of it, I'd say at least check out Saturday.

I paid for a sponsorship level last year, but work bent me over and used no lube, so i missed. They still owe me a sponsor T-shirt at least 8=P

I decided to make no plans this year since my work schedule is so spastic that making plans is a pipe dream. Its not uncommon to have a lazy ass day at the shop doing squat, and have the boss pop up -
THEM: i need you to fly to Chicago for the weekend and fix one of our sub contractors fuck-ups (pause) well, get going...
ME: What flight?
THEM: Donno yet, just head that way and we will e-mail it to you...
ME: (sigh) At least I have a weekend clothes bag packed and ready. *zips to the car and off to Sea Tac airport*

RF is a fantastic con. It has the small con feel despite the rapidly growing population. I've only not been there for its first year, and I've not been disappointed by either time I have been to it. :)

The best con i ever attended every year, for at least a decade, was a SciFi/fantasy con held in Chattanooga Tennessee. The only con I know of that has free flowing / free booze in the consuite. miss my roots, its been 12 years since ive been to that con.

I will never forget the year that a guy made a "Borg" outfit that was so damn good, it looked like he stepped off the set of The Next Gen - talk about devotion - he won the costume contest, and celebrated in the consuite - my cousin has pics of what a passed out drunk Borg on the floor looks like 8=P

I would say something so off topic but that'd me seem creepier than I already am. But I don't know...not sure about going to a con myself.

I'd tell you, but the only con I've ever been to was Youmacon a few times, and that's an anime/manga convention, not really furry. I do wish you a good time if you decide to go ^=^

I don't really go to furry conventions only because I don't really know what to expect other than just general convention stuff. I'd rather go to the anime conventions where I actually have knowledge of what I'm seeing and what I'm partaking in.

That is to say I'm not much for furry conventions in general. But if you are, then it very well might be a good idea!

BUTT... idk, its a smaller con... dunno if its worth it, but I still want to go.. I might try for Antheria or what ever that new con is in LA, but I think I'll just stick with FC, AC, Califur, Comic Con

I have done pretty well as far as having a table goes for the last two years, so attending again.
Unfortunately I couldn't tell you what life is with parties and such since I'm usually working X3
