Erie, PA Fursuiters please read! Also tattoo questions!!!

OK. My brother is taking a social deviance class or something and wants fursuiters to come to his class on October 11th, 11 am in EDINBORO. Please respond if you can come or know someone that could come. Thank you.
OKAY. I'm thinking about getting a small tattoo on my shoulder but am VERY hesitant. I'm going to do serious research about artists, but other than that, can my fellow furs that happen to be inked give me advice and tell me what they DO and DON'T like about having a tattoo? Do you have any regrets? THANK YOU!

To be COMPLETELY HONEST I do not like all of my tattoos, but they all mean something to me. If I had to do it all over again, I would have planned out placement better, but oh well c:
Go to the most expensive artist you can afford that's got a great portfolio. Don't do a walk in.

I like big tattoos so I'm not sure how tiny one can go!
As long as you don't tan, shoulder tattoos last a good long while (as opposed to hands, feet, etc where the skin sloughs off regularly)
PREPARE FOR THE ITCHING. DO NOT ITCH.
Maybe I will go bigger. I don't really care too much on the size, I just want it hidden. I like the idea of carrying a slime with me wherever I go, even if other people can't see it, I know it's there. :>
Also I'm worried about all those things, lol.

You just wanna keep it out of the sun for the first like...6months or so, just to make sure it heals happy.
i'm pretty mad that i got a bunch of mosquito bites on my newest one after moving. I ITCHED IT AND NOW IM SCARED I RUINED IT EVERN THOUGH IT LOOKS FINE

many of them are required to show you the sterilized needles an use ink in a small cup from a larger bottle if they dont
