So...now that the excitement is done and I've celebrated and such...I figure I can throw some details out there.

I got a job at a Photo Lab. I used to work in the photo lab at CVS nearly a year ago and I remember loving the lab. However, I also had to play cashier at the same time, which I hated. The store was understaffed and my manager got mad at me if I put photo over the register. I used to wish I could just stay in the Photo department all day long.

Well that dream has finally come true! This place ONLY deals with photography and what's more...I'll be working in the main office in the production and printing department where they only work with professional photographers. So, the pictures have to look nice BUT I don't have to deal with touch ups. JUST printing, sorting and packaging. And I don't even think I have to do packaging.

At CVS I had to do it all. Film development, printing from film, printing from digital orders, organizing, packaging, delivering etc...

They have an assembly line strategy at this place, it seems, which is good and effective and I'll be a part of it! I have no problem with repetitive work and I have a good eye for detail so keeping things organized shouldn't be a big deal. I work well under stress and keep my cool in the worst of situations (thanks to CVS...as much as I hated working there it's helped me).

SO I will be working in photo development and printing AND I start tomorrow! At 10:30am sharp!

Thank you so much for all of the congrats folks! The only disappointment is that I WILL NOT be opening for commissions until I have EVERYTHING on my list finished up! I have a lot of overdue artwork that needs doing and now I can finally have the time for it.

But don't fear! I'll open again in the future for commissions (in smaller quantities of course) to start a much needed savings account for a number of things (medical emergencies, vet emergencies etc...).
