I saw a blurry screen shot of the archaeopteryx last night, where I couldn't quite make out what it was, I just know I was like "please be a feather dino, please be a feather dino..." then pretty much LEAPED for joy when I saw the actual sprite. As far as I know, beating the gym leaders/pokemon league is still the foreground, the starters are still fire/water/grass, etc etc...

I do agree, it looks good and all, but... until they actually make them properly different from all the other games in the series, I'm not buying pokemon games anymore.

But I admit. I am thrilled by mole and vulture themed Pokemon, and the addition of another crab. The terrier things are pretty stinking awesome too. And while the little bat puffball thing is freaking me out, its evolution is pretty cute.
