Solo Exhibition, life update.

Since my computer committed suicide on me I've gotten so much more stuff done in the real world than I usually do. O____________________O'
I'm having my first ever solo exhibition in 5 weeks. (OMG, I am so nervous!)
I've been organizing the whole thing all by myself so far, and (so far) it's looking like it'll be rather unusual (in the good way).
I want to stay away from the whole 'posh' attitude, and make it something really fun to celebrate the 'weirdness' in everyone. I want it to be the kind of thing that weird people can feel at ease in, and conservative people will feel like a minority.
The theme has been picked, and now I just have to paint like mad for the next 4-5 weeks leading up to it, plus take care of advertising and get the word out there! The theme rotates around fish, and lends itself to this kinda inked style i've been doing lately- but with a slight touch of realism added to it.
I'm having it in a recently opened fashion shop called "Artisans" just north of the Adelaide CBD, in prospect. I'm also hoping to have some body-painted models welcoming people in on the opening night.
I need some more ideas on how I can make this show really interesting and unusual. So far i've got body painting, but that is all. So I really need some more ideas that will attract people to this event- If you think of something let me know right away! xD
I am completely open to ideas, no matter how weird that are (as long as it won't get me arrested. lol)
Wheeeee~ I can see myself become really stressed out in the next 5 weeks.

FA+

With the theme rotating around fish, would it be possible to have some sort of music featuring whale calls or something playing? 'Tis about the only idea I can think of to make it a little different while sticking to the theme
I've put an add out for a band/busker to see if anyone would be willing to volunteer for a night and get a photoshoot or free website done for them in return.... Man, if I could get some Cuban-Jazz inspired buskers I think I die from happiness.
I'd love to have another exhibition later on titled "Not for old farts" where I can exhibit my art depicting alternative culture- and I could get some of my hot tatted-up lady friends to frolic around semi-nude covered with my bodypainting.... And then everyone who comes can get drunk together and be happy. :D
That would be cool. :3
A local busker volenteerd for me. Oh, the excitement!
.. And because you are the one person who has commented, you get the joy of listening to me being all excited and pimping out her music page: http://www.myspace.com/mikaelinspirewonder000
It could turn out really well if I did some 'on the spot' masquerade-style masks for $10-$15 each. That could work out really well.
Not everyone will have $500 to spend on buying a canvass painting, so having painted masks for sale would give the less-wealthy people a chance to buy something on the night. :)
Food? Bar? Atm locations?
Descriptions of the arts?
Painted fish tanks? Fish for sale?
Carnival style fish games? Win a fish and such.
I've got snacks, and wine sorted. And I've got two music peformers coming now :D
I'll see about doing some intellectual paintings so that I can add a nice little description to them. I'm sure i'll get a chance to do something like that.
My dad actually breeds Koi/goldfish cross-breeds, so I might be able to sell some. :)
Like uber pretty
Maybe painted pocket watches? Or themed ones?
Party bags?
Small lottery style drawing?
