if you were a good person, you would call and try to get the vote of a Senator to repeal Dont ask Dont Tell. This law is disgusting, it keeps gays from openly serving and disclosing their sexual orientation while serving this country. If outted they are immediately discharged and are forever forbidden to serve. Lots of things are fucked up with that one, they are fighting honorably and no matter their worth if they find out they are gay they discharge gays like its nothing. Two, this treatment is unconstitutional. the law was first passed in 1993, it was passed with the intention to protect gays serving in the service, but it only did the opposite. superiours would work off of assumption and at times have a huge gay witch hunt. There are accounts of them invading their privacey and actually calling their families, this must stop! its not even being inforced right! i could go on...
