One answer of course is what dog groomers do. They shampoo dogs and use large hair dryers on them. Once I came up with the idea of a booth type full-body fur dryer that would circulate hot air upward into fur separator screens that could be emptied like the lint catcher in a clothes dryer.
Now bathing a housecat is a whole other thing. I'd imagine furries coming up with something better than manual grooming with a tongue. Maybe a vacuum brush device like those evil looking shed sucker things they sell on television. Hopefully that would prevent furballs. Species with waterproof fur like otters and beavers would need to use something to spread oily gland stuff/castoreum on their fur to stay waterproof or use some kind of 'greasy otter's stuff'. Combs and brushes would be a certainty. They've existed through human history and humans only have thick fur on their heads.
I'd rather eat a badger taco than a badger burger.
and Brushing prevents hairballs
and smaller animals breed faster... So bunneh girl will take months
to have a kid. Mmmm Badger Burger
And i want a bunny girl too =3
I would imagine it would be the same for fursonas. You fur gets wet, you towel off or hairdry, you fir is relatively dry 15 minutes later. Its not like most furries are immensely shaggy with hair over a foot long that would take a long time to dry.
