Back for Round Two!

Hi all! Been gone for a while (as if that wasn't obvious). Down in the dumbs as far as employment went and was devoting all of my energies to breaking into the market for which I spent four years in college. I wasn't about to settle for going back to Walmart or Harkins, and guess what, it paid off... somewhat. I got a part-time job! Whoo me!

Anyways, Stranded has been itching on my brain lately and I only know one way to scratch that particular itch So I'm bringing you fine folks some of my back logged chapters. By the time I run out of stock, I should have Stranded complete at long last, or that's the plan at least. Seventeen more chapters to go until the epilogue, or so I've planned things out, 11 of which remain unwritten. Wish me luck, hopefully my muse will hang around this time. I think it will, I'm finally now getting into some intense WG to keep my interest fueled. As always, don't be shy about comments, I love reading them and responding even more! (A few ego strokes never hurt anybody )

So... any chance of continuing that fantastic Lion King interactive you were working on? Just to let you know, the link in the journal you made before still works but it looks like they changed the name of the story for whatever reason.

Eh, well, the reason for the name change is that Matt wants to attract more... literary posts. You know rather than the typical sloppy WG posts that are prevalent in Writing.com. As for the story... well, my interest has waned in that direction. I'm not saying its down for the count, perhaps I'll pick it up after I finish Stranded. Also, remember that it's an interactive, Anybody can add to it =D

Yeah, but people rarely do =/ The only good story I saw that went on for a while was a handful of talented people going back and forth, I hardly use the site at all but it seems unlikely anyone else will pick it up. Ah well, your choice =D

Yeah, that is the thing with Writing.com. You seem to have to know people from outside the site in order to get any cooperative participation. I tried getting this one interactive going about fat dogs, but it never went anywhere. Only the author ever added anything and we both pretty much stuck to our own stories. Do you know if where interactives have more success? Perhaps here on FA?

Well, one called Rena's Adventure (I can't seem to find it in the search thing so here's a link to the outline http://www.writing.com/main/interac.....action/outline) has a few long stories in it, at least one of which is really good and seems to at least have a proper ending. I've only read most of the Lazy Lotto one so far but it's worth looking into.

Thanks for the link. I'm going to check it out. In the meantime, I thought you should know that I checked last night and someone did in fact add to my Sarabi story. It was so nice seeing some fresh words that I immediately added a new segment after his. Ah, the difference a just a few new words can do in reviving interest in an old story! =D

You should. A lot of answers to questions raised in the first half of the story are going to be answered pretty soon.

I'm glad you did this story though, it's a WG story, but also an actuall 'story' with drama and all that other stuff. Not some of the cookie cuter stuff I've read.
(Heh, you were actually one of the insperations for my own 'fat fur' based story)

Heh, Heh. Glad to be of some help. There should be more good WG fiction out there. Lord knows that good authors in our genre are hard to find =p

lol, Stranded, Sarabi, Art and more stories? That's a pretty tall order friend. =P I think I'm going to concentrate my efforts on Stranded for the time being. It's a lot of work writing a novel sized story after all. As for art... well, that little doodle was pretty much a one time deal. I have no talent at all for drawing.
