No. As an artist, one should sell art that others are willing to pay for given your skills and previous track record. Sure, artists usually do make art because art is what they love, but they are people like you and me and they need to put on their entrepreneurial thinking caps and see how their talent will put bread on the table. If selling icons @ $2.50 will make more than selling Iron Artist Pics @ $10 they probably might sell the less expensive products.

Artists should name their price. Its up to the consumers to judge if that price is reasonable.
