college and other.

By now, I know no one cares about my excitement- but I started college classes just yesterday. Classes are mostly good. I'm testing out of the math class, however. (I think it's a 70 class? I think?) But otherwise, pretty good. My back might die from textbooks.
I'm just sitting around at present. Mom and I did some epic shopping, and I have a lot of time to spare before class now. About an hour, actually. So I parked myself in the lounge with my laptop and energy drink and called it good. (It works. Right?)
I'm somehow glad I don't have passing times with everyone else, though. I watched a huge mess on the stairs go by. (Plus, I'm in a not so heavy trafficked building. Erm. Being a dropout, I get the special fun of starting classes in the building that Adult Ed is in. Only at first, thank god. I might scream if I had to be around these morons for two years. uhhrgg.)
I'm still considering a major. Dunno. They're kind of pressing me to figure it out.
Somehow, I feel my excitement might be a little more than normal. I feel like a kid on christmas eve. I had to take some medicine so I would sleep on Sunday night.
I was a highschool drop out, like I said, after 5 years of highschool and extra stress from the system. And I'm here, at a college, taking classes for /free/. The only thing I'd ever have to pay for is if my class required extra equipment. Fees paid for, books paid for- everything. I get it for two years. I'm surprised how my luck went. My only requirement is that I do well. Though this, I get a college education, or at least part of one, and my highschool diploma. Who could argue?
Waiting for monday to buy my transit pass. $20 bucks for the whole shabang, lasting all quarter. Totally not arguing.
Also, it's my 20th birthday this upcoming friday, the 24th. WHOO.
