I've spoken with my mayor, yelled at him more than once, same with my senator and once or twice governor. I write articles, protest, counsel, and yet still nothing changes, despite there being still no logical reasoning for any of this segregation and unconstitutional degradation of human liberty. I'm not too pleased with this Bullshit either, love, I agree completely with whatcha sayin' there. We just have to keep hammering back at it, can't give up the fight yet. Someday it'll be our kids looking to us for reasons why these assholes still get their way with things, and I want to do my most to make sure they have a better shot at loving and living freely than I had.

They'll repeal it soon enough, then after that we're gonna move to unisex barracks and bathrooms. Ya know, to be a fully integrated army and stuff.

People keep saying that if gays will be allowed to serve, then the people in the military will leave.

they will not reenlist. but in reality, they would carry on like normal.

this situation has conviced me that i am currently serving a system that propergates suppression. we are not fighting for freedom, we are fighting for subjugation. i do not care if i am given a chapter 15. in fact, if i am kicked out under that chapter i will be given an honorable discharge and a lump sum of about $3,000 (for having over six years active service). i also would not have to pay back my enlistment bonus under these conditions.

i once believed in this army, i felt included. but with this unit has made me realize that the military is a joke.
