Long overdue update!
I really need to try and toss updates on here a little more often.
Recently had a bunch of funny to laugh at when a babyfur left disparaging remarks on one of my guy's gallery pieces because it involved subject matter that they didn't like. The guy at some point wanted us to censor/modify the keywords so that he wouldn't have to see it whenever he searched for that kind of art. Pretty sure he mentioned reporting the picture as well as a few others because they were offensive to him. Talk about entitlement!
Happy to say that all involved pictures still remain up for anyone to see. Probably guessing that if FA removed all the arts it has whenever an individual was bothered by it - there wouldn't be a lot of art left to look at. Better luck next time, Mr. Censor. :P
I recently acquired a DCU boonie hat to wear when I go out to try and keep from getting sunburned. It comes as summer is just about ready to wind down - but hey, at least I'll have something I can finally wear when I go out on those crazy hot sunny days.
spotz- recently took me to see the USS Midway aircraft carrier that is docked in San Diego, CA. We went on Sept 11, which was our 4 year anniversary! It's really hard to believe that we've been together for all this time already. It seems like it was just yesterday when we haphazardly bumped into each other. I still love that man just as much as the day I fell for him. It was quite a bit of fun to see the carrier - much of which didn't require guided tours, so you are able to explore some areas by yourself if you are so inclined.
The carrier itself also has a package dealie where you can book rooms on-board. It's a one day trip where you sail out to sea and a World War II mock attack is performed against the ship (weather permitting). I'm not sure how much the actors involve you in the act, as we chose to just wander around on the carrier and explore while it was docked.
Gardening is still taking up a good deal of my time. I just have so many of the lil' shits to watch over! A ton of the flowers are blooming now though - so I'll probably try and grab some more pictures today and post them for everyone to see. The sunflowers are in full bloom now - or at least most of them are. It's really amazing to think that such a beautiful and rather tall plant can come from a little itty bitty seed.
I've also been playing Penumbra. Heavens to betsy, is that a really scary game. Blows games like Resident Evil/Silent Hill/etc out of the water, IMHO. It is so scary that I actually have to have Spotz sit with me while I play it. It's really that spooky! I totally recommend it if you dig games that give you major heebie jeebies.
