Microsoft Comic Chat ~~! How I got into the internet/furries

Do any of you remember this client? It was FUCKING AWESOME. Basically you could pick a character and chat as them in a comic book format styled chat. It was really fucking fun. I got really into drawing and digital art (lol) because of this client.

Here are my characters. THEY'RE SO BAD!! But they were the stepping stones of my obsession with digital media and online social interaction. Eventually the servers died.. and I stopped going, but I'll always remember it fondly. Mermeliz was very kind to host my terrible art (and she still is hosting it, jeez!).
It's also how I was introduced to furries, because there was a furry chatroom called FurFire. http://www.furfire.org/ That's also where I first discovered webcomics as well. I don't remember how old I was.. but.. HOORAY FOR BABY INTERNET!

Just be wary how even a doodle of Bruce Willis as John McClane (which is not much different from usual Bruce Willis) is sure to make your insurance costs rise.

Also, yeah, I know Microsoft Comic Chat, that's what Comic Sans was made for. I feel like it's an artificially over-hated font which could have avoided alot of scrutiny by being a local font to the program like other mediocre game fonts. You know, like TF2_build, haha.
Despite the comic sans fiasco and the terribleness of the webcomics people created with this thing, I gotta admit, the default alien, scotty dog, and beatnik characters were all mad charming.
