I see that a lot in my own art - even if we don't actually reference anything for a specific picture, we all think back to good examples of what we're trying to do, even if only subconsciously. *hug* Don't sweat it; I like your art. <3

Yeah I totally feel like that too...I get all paranoid wondering "Did I make this up or just see it in a comic somewhere" and then I can't remember D:

But then I guess all art is inspired by something, and the greatest artists in the world reference poses and so on. Is how come we have life drawing classes, and all those paintings of fruit bowls in galleries! Good pictures are more about how you can interpret something through your own imagination than whether or not you've seen something similar before, I think.

I like your art too, I've never thought anything you drew was ripped off from anyplace else :3

Mondták, hogy van egy-két dolog, ami az enyéimre jellemző, de amúgy én nem érzem ezt... A pózokhoz is van, hogy megnézek egy posemaniacs referenciát, aszerint kezdek neki.

Köszi hogy megosztottad a saját tapasztalataidat ilyen téren. Egyébként csak egyediség terén nem vagy megelégedve a saját rajzaiddal? Mert szerintem az mindig javítható, a minőség ami engem nagyon lelombozz a saját rajzaimon ,az egyediség is de az már kevésbé mert beletörődtem hogy nem tudok újat alkotni.

Nemcsak. Az anatómiát gyakorolnom kéne, és az a legidegesítőbb, hogy egy normális háttérrel nem tudok boldogulni. :/

My problem is that I don't get any positive reinforcement for what I do. And I see art that I know for sure is worse than mine, successfully selling for more.

I know what are you talking about, I experienced the same too, however nowadays at least I got a little supportive community which makes me happy inside.

That is anatomical design copying. Using someone else's way of building images. .. Or copying the end result anyway.

The berst way to solve this is to draw 5 fast sketches for an hour, While looking at real subjects, then continue drawing? I would think?

haha i rip people off all the time. i gotta learn how to draw before i can come up with original ideas.. i

nothing shameful about it, I just always feel frustrated when I try to copy some thing from others but if I try to be original then it'll look lame, so I have to force myself.
