I try to make all of my writing into enjoyable stories in and of themselves. Even if the main focus is weight gain, there still should be the backbone of a good story behind it to support it. I've seen WG for WG's sake fail time and again. You need a story to hang that lucious fatness on or else the reader just loses interest. That's my humble opinion on the matter anyways =D

Man, now I want to know what the gods did to her...

We were toying with a couple ideas, but sorta ran out of time at the end. It was 12:00 p.m for me. 8:00 in the morning for him XD. We were thinking a choice for continual weight gain so Sarabi would really know what it was like to be a goddess of prosperity/fertility. The other choice was more difficult. Continual pregnancy came to the formost of the list, but it seems too obvious somehow, almost cliche' (not that continuous WG isn't cliche' =P). But I haven't thought of anything better as of yet. I think the choices I made are sufficiently vague to take the punishment in most any direction if him or I were to change our minds.

If you had any suggestions for a possible divine punishment, I implore you to share them

Hoom... well since you asked, something that would make her grow like you said there, or something that would make it so that she can't eat, like she throws up or doesn't have any appetite, I dunno, something where she's really hungry yet unable to eat. And she'd have to do something to get the Gods to remove it, could be a simple apology or she'd have to do some manner of service for them... possibly a percentage of what she eats would go to the gods in order to increase their powers or energy or something, which may drive her to eat more. This could be permanent or it could just go on until she makes up the difference of the food she ate. Maybe something more mystical in that she'd have to create some manner of life-form for the gods, hence the ankh symbol, and everytime she ate it would grow inside her based off of what/how much she ate until it got big enough at which point it would be like 'hello, goodbye' and leave, returning her to the size she'd been at before she pissed off the gods... and possibly a bit extra. It would grow a lot faster than the amount of fat she'd normally gain from eating whatever she'd eat, and would make her quite a bit larger before it left.

The 'you want it, you got it. Not so nice NOW, is it?' angle you described up there is good too though.

Actually, I think that is a great idea. I wanted original, and that certainly is not cliche' . I do have a certain penchant for organisms living inside a host and altering them... you can probably guess how, lol. Actually, I think that the general idea is marvelous, it just needs a little refinement. I think the mechanism of making Sarabi hungrier and forcing her to eat more as well as having something growing inside her is an amazingly erotic concept. It will certainly hold the reader's attention, if only in pure horror and fascination of this thing growing inside of her, and grotesquely expanding her abdomen (though it's not like Sarabi has any particular lack of free space in her belly, lol). That strikes me as a much better idea than continuous pregnancy, perhaps even rivaling straightforward WG. It's bizzare, unique, and something I've had experience with in the past in RP's and tiny short stories and such. Yes, I think the idea will find a welcome home in Sarabi's story. Thank you =D

I wasn't thinking of a grotesque horrifying thing, more of a nice energy entity thing-gummy that once is had absorbed enough energy and therefore size from her food it would sorta phase out of her or something and leave. That works too though.

I mean, maybe it could telepathically explain what's going on ('cuz it's magic) and tell her that there's no need to be afraid and such. I dunno, I guess I just prefer the 'nice' angle rather than the 'horrifying' one but it's your story and all that.

Well, I'm not the sort to be turned away by concepts that others might consider distasteful, especially for use in WG. I was thinking that Sarabi might communicate with it at some point, but in the beginning, I think it would be better if she didn't know what it was exactly, except that something was growing in her belly. And even if it were a "nice" entity, having something growing inside you, a foreign body that was not produced by natural means, would be strange and disconcerting no matter how you spin it. But, you see, that's the best part! Sarabi's reaction to the whole state of affairs drives the story; the more uncomfortable and strange for her, the better entertainment for the reader.

And anyways, its an interactive. The way I see things happening, it will be several posts before Sarabi even realizes that there is something inside of her and even more posts before whatever it is starts growing to a tangible and troubling size. (either way, I imagine very long gestation time, right?) The point is that there is room for many interpretations. One choice can lead to it being an "energy-gummy" an other can lead to it being a flesh-eating velociraptor or a dragon, or whatever. There is room for not only my imagination but yours and who ever is willing to take a few minutes out of their day to post on the story =D

Yeah, though apparently I'm good at coming up ideas and I have spun more than a few stories/series of length out in my head, it's against what I call 'the policy' for me to actually write them. But still, cool beans.

Uhh, well, I figured way back when that I would only my writing for the cool stuff I come up with, with these certain characters I use. Sort of like 'seperation of cool stuff and porn,' I dunno. Though it's easy to make something that's both, it would be like, cheapening my other characters or something. I mean... it's hard to explain, it just doesn't seem right to do that and then write what is to certain people some manner of porn, though not quite... I can't explain it, it'd just be off. Basically I just look at the stuff, not taking part. just that some of the things I write, are like, sacred to me or something. Bah, maybe I will write other stuff some day, the things I come up with I think are fairly clever, very character and story driven... I dunno, I'm kinda starting to think about it now but I need to get some of these other ideas I've had down first, the 'cool stuff.'

Don't worry about it, I totally understand. The way we feel about things, sexual and non-sexual, can be very segmented in our minds. Take me for example. I LOVE dragons, to me they're special, I feel almost kin to dragons, I love the form. But I will never use dragons in a WG story because, they're like sacred to me, that's the perfect word to use. It's important to keep somethings away from our carnal urges and if your writing is one of them, then more power to you. It's important to express yourself in whatever way you feel is best. Sexual desires are only a small part of who you are.

However, if I could just make a clarification. I make a differentiation between porn and erotica. I think that porn is more a simple catalyst to sexual excitement - be it a picture or a story, whatever - with no real purpose beyond that sexual excitement. In my writing, I do my best to produce "erotica," a fusion of art and sexual overtones. I want more out of my "sexual catalyst" I want thought and expression and care. I want a tapestry where erotic content is woven masterfully into a great story. So I don't consider what I write to be porn, I consider it to be genuine story-telling, perhaps with different themes and objectives, but no less thoughtful or real. Some people might consider my work to be porn, some people might not be able to tell the difference, but that's their prerogative and I don't let it trouble me at all. I know what my work is and that's all that matters. You can't let what other people might think of what you do stop you from doing something that you feel passionately about. That's my two-cents on the idea.

As for the second paragraph, I don't mean like pure porn. Saying porn there was something of an exaggeration. I think you know what I meant, I just don't have the vocabulary to phrase it how I want to I guess. If I were to write this sort of thing I would keep it story and character driven above all, but it would still be about fat women and, odds are, them getting fatter. That is something that I and other people would enjoy reading for less than pure reasons, even if it does have the most kick-ass story ever to match. Then again, depending on how it's done the story might take a higher position than that stuff... like the 'Goddess Scroll' series over on DA. It contains a fertility goddess and occasional breast expansion stuff (not on the fertility goddess though, and it's not really stated directly) but it is so amazingly written and the characters are so awesome that I quickly found myself caring more about the story and what happens next that it simply ceased being the focus for me after a handful of chapters. I probably wouldn't be able to pull something like that off though.

The numbers on the story outline would be from 40 to 52. Of course, if you haven't read through the beginning of the story, you should because there is important plot material you would miss if you just read the new stuff.

The ruins themselves could cause her hunger to grow into gluttony and greed she
is incapble of controlling. And the monkeys and leopards bring her food for her to
eat also. She could even have a dream of a few years of her greedy gluttony of
Tribe offerings from the other animals and the humans that bring the Tribe Offering
foods of how she has turned out.
Then after waking back up, she finds that she really likes it better that way.

Well... I don't really know how that first part might work. But the idea that Sarabi is granted a vision... say of her being a glutenous queen of the jungle, only to wake up from it after having spent several years "living" that life. That is an idea worthy of more exploration

Oh, and for those of you who aren't interested in/don't like writing WG stories, well there's plenty of other plot-lines to choose from, I do try to be open-minded about such things.

Well yes. I wrote quite a lot actually. Most of it is in the Sarabi story lines.

Funny, I stumbled on to that while trying to find well-written lion king stories a while back. I thought your stories seemed familiar in writing style...
