Actually--they switched me to a different "class" of BP meds, so now I just have to let the old stuff work its way out of my system...and keep taking the steroids and the occasional benadryl!

Anyhow. Pup, it sounds like you've got hives. I would suggest going out and picking up Benadryl allergy. I have the exact same condition and that stuff works absolute wonders. It might make you a bit drowsy (knocks me dead tired sometimes) but it'll clear the reaction up relatively quick and stop that itching. So I feel for ya, that stuck sucks. :P

happens to me too. Apparantly it could be a non-Allergic pressure triggered hives. and it can flare out for no apparant reason. very mysterious, and there really is nothing to do about it apparantly. I get the lip thing too... i fucking hate that -_o makes it look like i got punched or something...
i used to get similar mysterious things when i was younger. that Genome Histology complex is one wierd screwy soup full of curveballs.
I don't believe in Karma... nope.. no such number.

what i mean by pressure triggered is that.... for example if i lean on my chair arm for a while, my elbow will break out and swell up with mosquito like blotches that look like ... Norway. or if i happen to be using tools.. i'll get it on my hand. ice doesn't help. it eventually subsides. But it's real torturous when it appears on difficult to scratch places... like my fingertips... i'd break out every afternoon, like clockwork sometimes. i have come to expect it... I'd use Benedryl diphenhydramine if it weren't so Fucking Expensive!!! (Expensive cuz lowlife fucknuts abuse it and take the whole box to get high, or make Ecstasy from it >:L)

comes and goes seasonally. it's a mystery. not so bad right now. it's funny how it never ever appears in certain places... like my ass.

sorry to here that, i am allergic to metal(and this is after 4 years of wearing allkinds of metal jewlery, go figure. right now, as a matter of fact, i have hives on my neck because i was wearing my dogtags the other day, for just a meer 3 hours. the only spot that doesnt break out is my ankles, and my mom yells at me for wearing jewlery down there(good thing she doesnt know im BI/furry:P) oh, and when i mean thats the only spot, i mean it. lets just say i learnt that it is almost impossible to live a life outside the house with a inflamed/itchy ... well you can guess.

and to the good/bad karma. just remember, some people can have worse karma than you(it helps you keep positive). for instance, in the past year i have lost several of my fav. relitives(i had also seen these persons a week to the day they died), found out i need to loose my wisdom teeth(though im fighting that), and had too have four cavities painfully filled, and loast my hardrive and four stories/and pics(check out my page for more details on that:P)... plus anything else i can think of.
with all that, i have ony one good thing happen, and its very minor. i graduated. thats about it, so where is the equivilant exchange in this fun pot?

I had something very similar happen to me, and it turned out I was reacting to the antibiotics I was on at the time. I'm fairly certain that your doctor would have asked about this, but I thought I'd toss it out there.

i hope you feel better soon. I have never had an instant negative karma attack so i cant say i fully understand.

This isn't an isolated incident--I get this kind of yin/yang crap all the time. It really seems like every time something good happens, something equally sucky nails me within a day or two.

Yay--good to hear! Actually, I'm very excited about it. And having Chris Sawyer as the main AGOH is really great because he was at the very first con I ever went to and was very nice to me, letting me sit at his table and hanging out with me. So I'm doubly pleased!

Congrats on the GOH at RCMF. Never been to it, though I was invited at FWA cause of my cosplay. Maybe living down south I'll make a few other as opposed to living here in Oregon and making two a year if lucky.

That's cool--I've worn mascot fursuits on a couple of occasions and DAMN are they hot! I thought I was gonna die.

Did a radio station thing in Minnesota a few years back and it was horrendous. August in 100% humidity and high 90s. -faints in remembrance-
