Wii VERSUS PS3 MOVE!!!

Oh, but, wait, uhhhhhh...
I thought the wiimote was for 7 year olds.
I thought the wiimote was for 7 year olds.
FA+

If the PS3 move is fifty dollars this means that once I have five move titles I have been paying an extra ten dollars on top of the retail price, ten move titles is 5 dollars more.
In essence I pay more for the move games than a normal game and generally the move titles i've seen offer less from what I actually want in a game.
Plus I am unlikely to ever own that many move titles.
Also note that since gaming companies hate Australia we pay double the American price even though our dollar is no where near that weak any more.
I'm not one, but I'm stating it won't fly for some people. But I completely understand where you're going with that.
Which is the point with the move too. I just don't personally think that the extra charge is worth the new feature is all. Not yet anyway, give it two years and they might start doing good stuff with it, like they did on the wii.
Damn you inflection.
Sony, let's see you make something new and fresh for once. Seems like you're always better than Nintendo... years after they make a ground breaking innovation.
I have both a PS3 and a Wii, I gotta say that PS3's motion control looks a lot more fun than it is on Wii...simply because you don't have to use it all the time as you do in Wii and you are able to actually move in a 3D space.
I find it hilarious that Sony is taking Nintendo's motion control idea and building on it, and that the Xbox is taking SONY'S motion recognition control ((Eyetoy)) and vamping it up ((Note that I realize these are GROSS simplifications))
ripping eachother off and doing a cooler job is the only way we get any fun toys!!! give playstation a break man PS3 is still way too expensive for the wii's target demo anyway. let them innovate a little it's more cool toys for us
maybe some video game prophet told them the future of analog controls and 12-15 button controllers and they just implemented that design in the WORST WAY POSSIBLE
Though frankly speaking, and despite the content of this journal, I was pretty unimpressed by Nintendo's conference :/
Seems like I'm the only one though.
If Nintendo never included motion control, then Microsoft and Sony wouldn't have either. :P
There was the eye-toy, for example >_-
And now it's all pretty goofy to watch, sad face.
It's just that Nintendo has been hyping that damn Remote SO much that no developer will ever touch the Classic Controller (or the GC controller). =/
you have to get a few things for the move to work
Sensor
remotes
games that actually incorporate motion detection
Its almost cheaper to just buy a whole new system. Check out Microsoft's Kinect project
Last thing to hate about motion control: In the end, games that were hard with a controller become an insane shake-fest. All in all, I say Wii because they're already perfecting their motion controll and PS3 is just following their trail.
I give you the Split Fish Dual SFX Revolution:

All the games i've seen for it offer me nothing I'm interested in since the novelty factor was gone when the wii was released.
Better graphics? don't really care for graphics too much.
Better acuity? Probably but honestly not worth putting down the extra money for.
Also yes the wiimote is for seven year olds. The ps3 move is for seven year olds with lots of money :D
