Yeah... but just remember your own words there "IF lucky". Like the saying goes, "IF" is a 2 letter word with very big meaning. Many have usually lost when it comes to gambling.

So, only set aside that which you would be cool about losing in case you don't win. Because, the simple fact is... if you don't X number of dollars to lose, then you you don't have that same amount to gamble to begin with.

That's probably about the safest mindset to take towards gambling. Otherwise, I may have to call 1-800 GAMBLER on you. lol Kidding, as usual, of course.
