Monster's Formspring So on 9/15 PayPal decided that it suddenly didn't trust my identity despite the fact that I've had an active account since 12/2007. They also failed to properly respond when I gave them the personal information they asked for, and then when I called them tonight they decided it was TOTALLY NOT ENOUGH and asked me to send a copy of my driver's license and bank statement, which I have done. Hopefully this will be resolved soon. Until it is, though, all commission work is coming to a grinding halt because I really, really don't want to be in a position where a payment gets horribly tangled up.

There was big buzz a while back, then it died down. I think PayPal has remained in as much use as it has just by how many people have it.

Alertpay has some more fees and is a little weird, but maybe a little more friendly to the type of work we do.

yeah, I'm in that same boat and as I don't get any bills or anything, I cannot provide proof of address... x.x and they got money of mine in the account!
