At least you don't hate your own lineart specifically.

Would you be referring to yourself? Your lineart looks pretty solid to me. How long does it take you to do a regular single char line art? (fullbody)

And I do often get upset at some of the lineworks i do. But im working on it.

It probably only looks good because I based it off a friend's sketch.

The sort of lineart I draw from scratch is usually pretty bad... I'd show you examples, but I don't actually have any non-rushed examples uploaded onto FA (This would be the closest I can give, but it's also very rushed, so, yeah).

As. So im guessing its based on the quality and detail of the sketch itself. I tried teaching a friend how to do some basic linework only to realize that I couldn't allow my sketches to be as messy as they usually are because hes relying on that.

I don't lineart from scratch, I tend to draw everything on paper first using a greylead pencil, heh.
