Looking under rocks AKA where are all the spiders?

Where are all the spider furs? Or should I say is there any at all? I'd love to meet a gorgeous black widow. They don't always eat their mate you know. }: )
I guess what I'm trying to say is I'm kinda sick of all the domestic disgustingly cute furs. I've seen enough foxes, canines, and felines to last a lifetime. Is everyone a conformist?
Bah, there's that gulf between me and everyone else rearing it's head again. I don't want something cute and furry to cuddle with. I want to nuzzle a giant spider. Or feel the tickle of a swarm of thousands of spiders crawling all over my body, snout and down my tail.Rowr!
*sigh* Anyway I'm working on some miniatures, including some new spiders I'll have to post pics of. I've been lax about that lately. I have quite a few projects I finished and didn't post. Ah well.

Us dragons we're pretty rare. Often maligned in media few would choose to be us. Well that is until some positive media lately, which is a good thing. I also noticed some dragon toys in Target so I have hope for future generations to be well disposed towards us. But still I don't think I ever want to be the "in" thing.
But I think MOST of us just want to be what appeals to us, and screw if it's popular or rare, normal or outlandish. I've always been fascinated with dragons, way before the internet was even around. When I found my first MUD to play on, there was absolutely no hesitation. I was a dragon. A non-anthro dragon. I have sometimes played an anthro, but 90% of my online time has been as a non-anthro western dragon.
I agree with the kitten and puppy aspect for BDSM, and have another observation. Those are domesticated breeds. Not only do people gro up with and around them, but they have been BRED to be submissive.. so it doesn't surprise me at all once I think about it like that. As a Dom I actually prefer (by far) a dragoness as a pet over a fox or feline. Think of the phrase "the bigger the are, the harder they fall." The stronger someone is, the more satisfying it is for me to have them under my foot and control. Dominating a dragoness is just far too compelling for me to resist.
As for spiders and things not considered cute... hmm. I guess most people just find them icky or it makes them uncomfortable. It's not something most would consider. For me personally... I don't play spiders as my main character.. but they do show up in my RPs and writings. I like having dragons or unicorns or other furs captured by large spiders. Webs make for such wonderful bondage and spiders can do all sorts of terrible things to their victims, or simply catch prey for their Master if they are trained or enslaved to them.
I've also seen spider-centaurs before.. those might be more common.
Anyway hi there Faithry. I was just thinking of commissioning you, well omega really I guess, to make my arachnid dreams come true. }; ) Note me and put me in the rather large queue I bet.
