haha, I bought my DS specifically to play diamond, got halfway through and quit. but I'm playing it now. XD it's fun, it has a lot more to it than a lot of the other games.

Grass: Lefeon (too cute to resist)
Fire: Vulpix (another cute one)
Water: Squirtle (no one can beat squirtle, I never liked mudkip.)
Electric: Shinx (cute one)
Ice: Glaceon (cute one)
Psychic: Espeon (cute~)
Fighting: Hitmonlee
Normal: Eevee (I love Eevee and all the eeveelutions)
Bug: Scyther (awesome looking)
Dark: Absol (cute)
Dragon: Flygon (cute)
Flying: Honchkrow (awesome looking)
Ghost: Haunter (no one beats Haunter)
Ground: Sandslash (cute)
Poison: Arbok (vury cool)
Rock: Onix (it is teh pwns)
Steel: Skarmory (metal that can fly, simply amazing)

But my all time favorite would have to be Squirtle. Squirtle was the first pokemon I played with, the first toy of one I had, the first in the series I loved. Squirtle is da best.
