As someone who lived in the 70s, I disagree.
it wasn't just all about horsepower and .4-mile times back then. People weren't afraid of color and extravagance. They had fun with their cars, inside and out. Even the hot-rods had vision-testing paint-jobs and custom interiors.
You kids never experienced the good shit.

'eh, if you can look past the fact that it needs a 'frappe' button (I agree with the comments that it transforms into a blender) it IS neat to see how far the technology has come for servo/animatronic usage...and then gets squandered on that poor thing.




The hood *IS* a neat touch though and I'm not sure why it's a 'kill this motherfucker' worthy. People do horrible things to their vehicles every day....Dually trucks get slammed to the ground, innocent little Del Sols become retarded extras for the Too fast to Furious movies...vans still get the headliner fringe treatment

The trunk for instance, how many times have you been too short to close the lid on the trunk of your car, not anymore now that it opens sideways! And the rear spinning doors are for when someone is standing beside your car and you want them to leave, you pop the rear door and it smacks them to get the message through. Now the camber on those wheels may look a little silly, but when you're taking a turn on these rough city streets, you want the piece of mind that you will not lose grip in the corners. Now the hood is the most important part, Looking at classic Cadillacs and Mercedes of the past, they open from the middle, but in the year 2010 we need it to open from the sides! You should not kill this man, we should honor him! Put him on a pedestal, and hope that car makers integrate spinning rear doors and sideways trunks into all out consumer cars!
