In honor of "Oktoberfest" for the month of October, I'm suggesting everyone try Okto by Widmere, one of my favorite Portland breweries. Enjoy!
Edit: On a side note, a friend of mine is in the 41st Infantry Brigade, and Rogue produced a special beer called the "Sunset Stout", only available to the troops in the 41st. He gave me a bottle, and (of course) since it was made by Rogue, it was strong yet smooth. It had a thick chocolaty taste, but did not taste like a stout to me. It seemed more like a dark amber ale. It was amazing!
