Frosty's Super Hippie Protest of Love

So yesterday, as I was walking back to my dorm after class, I saw a table with a bunch of conspiracy theory nutjobs at it. They had a couple of big posters with Obama on them with a Hitler 'stache and the word "IMPEACH," which really bothered me because, no matter what you think about Obama and how much you hate his policies, it's just unfair and hateful to compare a man who's trying to do his best for the people (whether you think he's succeeding or not) to a man who's mission was to ELIMINATE AN ENTIRE RACE OF PEOPLE. So I did what any sensible daughter-of-hippies would do: I wrote "STOP THE HATE" on a piece of paper and stood a few feet away from the table for an hour XD
It was relatively uneventful for a while. A few people smiled at me, gave an approving nod, or gave me thumbs up. I gave a few high-fives and fist-bumps (TERRORIST FIST BUMPS OH NO). At one point, one of the people at the table started talking at me, and I just kept telling her she was wasting her time. A few people stopped to debate with them.
At a few different points, some people would stop and chat with me a bit, and a few people even stood with me for a while. A group of guys and I agreed to come back later and screw with them some more. It was 1:40, and I had a 2:00pm class, so I had to leave. I told them I'd probably be back around 4pm.
When I did get back, the table was already gone. I was a bit disappointed, just because it was kind of fun messing with them XD
Today, when I went to one of the dining hall with my roommates for lunch, I ran into one of the guys from yesterday. Apparently him and his friends did end up going back later, armed with signs that said "OBAMA IS A CACTUS" and "WE'RE NOT WITH THOSE PEOPLE." I guess they were effective, because within less than two hours, the table was gone. Holy crap my day is made XD
Er... I guess the moral to the story is to not be afraid to stand up against what you think is wrong, even if you're the only one standing. AIN'T THAT CUTE.
LOOK MOMMY IMA ACTIVIST NAO :D
