I Had NO Idea...

...you could get food poisoning from a Veggie Delight sandwich from Subway.
Maybe the ranch that I got on it was just slightly off...I dunno.
All I know is that I felt sick around 2pm yesterday, but I struggled and pushed and managed to make it through the rest of my work day. Got off at 4pm and went to pay my rent. Was feeling alright by the time I got home. I took the dogs out to the back yard and that's when I started feeling it again, so I took them back in and laid down in the bedroom. About an hour later, I felt so sick...and got up to go to the bathroom...
...where I promptly puked out the entire content of my stomach. Some of it even came out of my nose. It was chunky. That was the worst part. So I could taste AND smell nasty subway vomit and I couldn't stop myself from heaving for even a second, not even when I was just dry heaving (which was painful).
Once I was done, I rinsed with mouthwash to get rid of the taste and went to lay down again. A couple hours later I took some Pepto Bismol to help my stomach. Bad idea.
I ended up vomiting pepto-pink goo a little later. It didn't come out my nose that time, thank God. I have this sensitivity to vomit. If I see it, I start gagging. So imagine what it was like for me to have my face in a toilet bowl of my OWN vomit. I couldn't stop heaving because of it.
I spent the whole night tossing and turning, curled up on the bed with shakes and shivers and sore muscles. I had to call into work this morning because I just wanted to get some sleep. I'm super nervous. I've only been working there three weeks and calling in is a bad move, but I'd rather not puke on a photo order and make it worse. Hopefully they can function without me.
Love,
Champ

Hope you'll feel better soon, get lots of rest okay?.
:3
Was in bed from 5pm yesterday until 11am today...only getting up to puke or lay in a hot bath for a while.
Hope you get over it quickly, food poisoning sucks D:
(Never eat bad walnuts. EVER.)
I'm worried about eating Subway again now.
It surprised me, really. Usually I have a cast iron gut (had surprise!undercooked chicken and fish before and been fine)
I'll just stop eating altogether! That'll work.
I remember the last time I got sick like that and started vomiting. I ate homemade baked chicken and mashed potatoes that, and I wasn't eager to see it again if you know what I mean. I felt so bad and nauseated and I eventually puked. I think my mom may have left the chicken out a bit too long or it was probably a lil' bad. It got so bad that I would start choking whenever I puked and I got the dry heaves as well.
It sounds weird and nasty but vomiting is a good thing and it's expeling anything in your stomach that may harm your body, so at least that's one good thing that's gonna come out of this.
Just remember to take it easy and relax, even take naps. Also remember to drink plenty of fluids such as water and orange juice (and soft drinks such as Coke, Dr. Pepper, or Mountain Dew can help settle your stomach). For food make sure to not eat too much and to eat soup and saltines right now to help settle your stomach. Do not drink milk or eat dairy products like chocolate, that'll probably make you throw up again.
So is the only problem you're having is the nausea and the vomiting? Do you have a fever or any other symptoms?
I hope you get well Champ, being sick like this is never fun. :C
Had it happen and ever since then I really watch how I cook any food I make or buy at the store.
The motto is if it is under a light throw it in the oven for another hour to make absolutely sure it's well cooked.
Now Subway is a new one on me because they usually check their foods before they serve them. I would call the management of the store you bought the sub from and let them know what happened because that's a violation of FDA codes which are supposed to prevent stuff like that from happening.
I've been poisoned twice from food I kept way too long in my fridge and food from a questionable vendor who didn't monitor his freezers to see if they were cooling right.
Subway is under FDA scrutiny 101 as it is so this is really surprising.
Also I've had salmonella poisoning which really sucks as well so now we buy our meat and make sure it's cooked well. I will not eat any meat I buy at the store no less then well and if it doesn't look right I don't buy it.
I really hope you feel better Champ..
That shit is not fun, period the end.
Once it happens to you you learn really fast to be careful with what you buy and who you buy it from or how long you keep it.
