You've probably seen it elsewhere and probably everywhere, but today is John Lennon's birthday. Figured I should mention it, as John Lennon had a very early influence on my music. The Beatles were the first band I ever actively listened to as a child. I had a tape of "1962-1966" that I played religiously every night as I fell asleep.
