I thought I'd squeeze a journal entry in before I head out to go birthday shopping for my roommate. :) For a few weeks there, I was really struggling with life. It was kicking my ass in about every way I could think of. I really wasn't happy. I'm not sure how I fixed it, but I kind of locked myself in the apartment and cleaned the hell out of it. Now I'm in a better mood!

I start my job pretty soon, orientation is on Tuesday! It's going to be nice having a desk job again. Especially when I'm going to be able to afford a smart phone that can browse the internet while I sit there. I'm finally going to have insurance, PTO, 401k, all that fun stuff! I'm really excited to start, especially since there's a few friends I'll be working with. :)

This is the last month on our lease at the apartment, so Sean (my roommate) and I are going to move in with our parents for the holidays, then start the new year by moving into a new house. We're trying to find a place that will let us have pets, too. We're planning on both getting a dog. He's going to get a Boston Terrier, I still haven't decided on the dog that I want. While we've moved out, I'm going to work on buying a new computer, a car, and a new longboard! My shortboard does fine, but an extra longboard would be great.

MY PLANS FOR 2011
*Move into a nice house that allows pets. Good luck on that one.
*Get a car
*Take a week vacation to New York to see Chris.
*Don't die.
