Yup, for my senior year I'm trying to make more and more trips/conferences and network for my career, and in January I'm going to the biggest weather convention of all, the AMS Conference in Seattle. I'm uber excited for so many reasons. The trip itself. I've never flown on an airplane before (commercially, and in the past 15 years). The city itself (a few of my friends are going with me, so it's gonna be fuuuuuuun having a night or two out on the town), obviously the conference itself, being the furthest out west I've ever been, and best of all...aside from the $25 reg. fee it's all free! XD The whole trip, hotel stay, etc. The dept. and one of our profs are funding it all. It's gonna be AWESOME. I also plan on going to Iowa next semester as well for a conference there.

I can't wait Sorry, just had to vent. It's rare for me to be able to do anything exciting these days.
