How important are fav/watch-shouts?
Hey, a question to anyone who would like to share his/her opinion.
Recently I had been more watching/faving active and some of the artists gave me shouts to thank me for that.
That is for sure a nice gesture and I certainly appreciate any shout.
But how do you think about those?
I personally have self not given shouts as thanks for favs and new watches.
Not because I'm not thankful, more because of my shy nature.
Yet, what do you think, would you find that rude?
:S

I can not say for sure if its rude or not, because if your shy, well, so be it and people will just have to deal with that. I personally do not see it rude, if there is a reason behind it. But other people might. Humans are fickle that way. If you are concerned that you may be putting people off by not responding, you may want to put your reason on yuor profile. I think more people will understand.
But I wanna gather opinions, so that I can see the trend.
If the majority enjoys and would apreciate more shouts about watching me or for faving my art, then I would certainly make sure to be more behind that.
But if the most not even bother to think about it...
As for you:
well, now that I know that you do care, I'll make sure you also get what you deserve.

When I go and favorite other peoples' art, I technically don't expect a response saying thanks or whatnot, however I do like it. Mainly because most of the time it is a fur who I have never interacted with, thus allowing me to converse with a new person and hopefully make a new friend. As for the ones who don't, I don't preflect on it as they could easily be too busy or get so many faves/watches that they can't respond to each individual.
