Now, it's obvious I either have to make my own, get permission to use something already made for me, or be somehow lucky enough for someone to create one for me - but regardless - what would be good dimensions for one?
also, I'm not sure how to put one together...I think I have lamination supplies, but after that, do I just use a safety pin or something?

I need to minimize costs here...I'm not asking anyone for new art unless it's free, or I can pay them in person at Oklacon. >.>
I'm artistically frustrated lately, so I think I'm just gonna sort through pictures people have done for me and pick one out...
Seems I missed the rest of the post, laminate, leave a bit of extra space at the top then you can punch a hole through it, wearing it on a necklace/string works, but most cons that I see use a little plastic loop and a snap that'll snap through light materials. Might be able to get an extra one from them when you get the badge for the con itself.
