Hmm, so they will. This system was kind of half-assed, comments shouldn't be deleted at all, just hidden and able to be unhidden. No data should actually go away.

Apparently, the data is still actually there, and submissions with like over 9000 hidden comments are actually flagged to the admins so they can see if something is going down. I very much approve!

Well, because of the changes, as of yesterday myself and a few others could no longer post replies to comments while using Internet Explorer. It was because of the new code for the comment system.

That sucks... sadly there's not as much of a "Standard" as one would like

IE's one true downfall is it's slow update speed. It's never up with the times.

They just use a different web standard... they've kinda adopted their own.

I think M$ has finally pulled the plug on IE and won't keep including it in later releases. I suspect it will vanish eventually

I think it's perfectly valid to complain about a piece of software that doesn't work. I still use Windows, and even IE if I need it, but IE just isn't a good browser--it doesn't comply with internet standards, the code FA is using for this feature is (probably) perfectly fine, it's just that IE can't handle it.

I agree with you one that point. Microsoft updates it once in a blue moon.
