Chameleon?!

So I've come to the conclusion that I REALLY want a pet chameleon... REALLY badly. I absolutely love having a bunch of reptiles around the house. The only problem is how expensive they end up being. The chameleon itself is not expensive, but once you finish buying everything the little guy needs it ends up being well over $300... which I don't have to spend on a pet right now :/ I mean I could, but I should really be saving my money.
What should I do?! Give me FEEDBACK D:
They only place in my area that has them is petsmart (Which I don't exactly trust.) And My second option was going to be buying it online, from a trust worthy site of course. I bought my Kenyan Sand Boa off this great site six years ago, and he's very healthy.
