I don't know what happened, but I have been in your place before. I know how hard it is to force yourself to say things you don't really want to say, but do because it needs to be done. It's hard to find the right balance and not push too hard.

In cases like this.. it is your intention the first thing that the other persion sshould understand.... because in many cases.. they feel we are just hard for being indifferent towards their feelings.... but sometimes . it is necessary to ber hard to help somebody to react... I admit it .. I am one of those persons... Sometimes I would love you to be here with mer to kick me when I am depressed for silly things... Just calm down dear.. If you reaaally feel you agraviated him/her... just try to expres your apologized in the most calmed way.... but of course . honest... and that moment.. explain the reasons.. sofltly... trying to get closer... and you may also be able to help with the problem and to be find peace for yourself <3<3<3... I'm so sorry for how you're feeling Howie. I've been in exactly the same situation and I know that you feel torn up inside and hurt and sad. I know it feels many many times worse when it's a good friend. But there is hope Howie. You're a kind caring person and I'm not the only one who thinks so. I try and want to believe that sometimes good friends can disagree and still be friends. Even if a friend of mine and I disagree from time-to-time I don't ever want to lose them because they are so precious to me and that's even more true for very close dear friends. Sometimes things go wrong despite out best efforts and that hurts the most because we meant no harm and we care so much about our friends because they mean so much to us. While they may be upset or angry right now, if this person is a good friend then deep down they should care about you like you care about them and they wont want to loose your friendship either.
Whoever this friend is Howie, I hope things work out for the both of you and that you both don't remain sad for too long.

ahh thats a shame, but i know how you feel. Ive gone too far while trying to help quite alot of times. Its probley best to leave them be for a while,a nd when you think that their readdy, say sorry and tell then that your sorry you brought it up and went to far.

The road to Hell is paved with good intentions. I know how you feel, I've f***ed up that way myself. Learn from your mistake, Howie, that's the best thing to do. Sometimes you need to know when to stop helping, or not help, and it seldom hurts to ask first.
