Really, the only way to do this is to condition it when it's young. Keep it around other animals, other people (especially kids), and in a very friendly environment. If you do, it should be less prone to lash out.

It maybe to late for that the main reason the pitbull attacked the mutt is because when she was younger the mutt pushed her around,

and when the pitbull had puppies months ago the mutt used to jump on her more, but our pitbull has had enough and it's payback time for our mutt :(

*technically I guess it was the mutts fault but now she can't fend for herself cuz the pitbull is stronger and fiercer >>;

Well then the only other option is to obviously keep them apart ^^;

This. Pit bulls are notorious for their aggression. Training can condition them to a degree, but it sounds as though it's just too late for that now.

Yeah, i guess we were all too busy to socialize and train her properly 8<

If they girls aren't spayed that can also lead to aggression. Sadly though it does sound like it's too late now, patterns and dominance are set. They may still be able to be worked with so that you can have them together when you're around, but I would never trust them alone again.

A co-worker of mine had to have our vet stitch her dog up twice in the same month because he kept getting out of onr room to the one where his dad was and they tore each other up pretty good. =/

You have a point, our mutt is spayed but our pitbull isn't as dad wants her to have pure bred pups, We have to keep them apart until one is gone.
