Living Abroad / IELTS

General
I've mentioned this, at least once. At some point I think.
I really really fucking hate talking to people about having lived abroad for so long sometimes.
- I'd do it but I don't have the money.
- You're so lucky to have gotten to do that.
- I'm planning on living abroad next <s>winter</s> <s>year</s> <s>in 2008</s> forever from now.
Maybe it's a personal conceit or something. Well I guess it's really conceited actually. I hope you can relate. I don't know why it grates on me.
I suppose it's because the underlying message is that being able to do it is some impossible challenge that I wouldn't understand. Apparently because I am rich and lucky.
ANYWAYS, this is really pissy, and not what I wanted to write about.
I got a job, shiiiiit, yeahhhhhhh, woahhhhhh. And it actually relates to my experiences in latin america and asia, and I'll get to deal with immigrants in canada who want to do language testing here, so it's really cool, and I'm really fucking stoked, and I'll have to wear ties again.
I'm just really genuinely happy about this. It's sort of a self-worth +1
This also means when I finsih up the commissions I have now, I probably won't take anymore. Necessity over! Money in a canadian bank for once.
I had a lot of responses though, so, maybe I'll try taking one a month, if the subject matter really grabs me? Something like that. Anyways, wheeee

Good work with the job, and I hope everything works out!
College gives me money. I use money on airfare and tuition and food and housing. I live in foreign country for 4 weeks. I fly home unable to say I've not seen the world.
The experiences! The languages! The CULTURE!!! (-d bacteria)
Would probably have loved to go study abroad, BUT I liked having money for things :P
Congrats on a job well done.
Are you going to be a translator? or a culture coach for people who don't know the ways of the candians?
Congratulations on the job! and i hope its been treating you well!
