But, overall, yes, we are agreeing on the same point. Easier to start - seeing as they even rewrote all of the spell descriptions to say shit like "an expensive but fast heal for emergencies," or, "a slow attack that does X damage, avoid using in melee" - for newer players to get started and will be able to jump in. It is more noob friendly. Also it is more fun and you see automatic strategic options available you you even when you start off at level 1. Meaning that it gets people ready for the real stuff later on. And towards the top, yes, it's a more advanced to offer more of a challenge to seasoned players, who are all the guild nuts and whomever who keep WoW subscriptions for years and years.
Like I said, yeah, incorporates a little more strategy to those who do all the raids and instances and junk and who play WoW for years and years. Basically, catering to longtime players. Where it also caters to new players by labeling everything and laying everything out really simply for people to get started.
In essence... offers more to new players, more to old players = more money for Blizzard. It's a pretty brilliant creative move on Blizzard's part.
