I'm back!
Yup, I'm back in my little corner of Saugus, and I'm ready to see the city I've grown to know for almost my whole life. I hope I can see you all soon. =]

Same happened a bit after college. Except with my roommate of 3 years. I still keep in touch with him and his wife, another friend of mine who I knew my freshman year before I knew him my sophomore year. After our first year of marching band, she left her tenor sax in the band room, and the school confiscated it, thinking it was theirs. Her mom died the next year, who had bought the sax for her, and so they didnt have the proof of purchase, invoice, or serial number to get it back. Our senior year of college, I broke into the band room, stole a jupiter sax, because I knew hers was a jupiter--and took it to her apartment. She took out the neck, looked right at it, at one distinguishing mark, and put it down, and instantly hugged me, crying.
There was a micro-inscription that said "To Anna, Love Mom" under the octave loop around the neck. I had stolen back the right sax. :3
That's really all I have been close to after graduating...one or two people each time. Funny how life changed a bit <:3
I have no idea if I'll have the same friends now in comparison to the next decade or so. Life has the ability to change quickly and one day may bring something completely different than the previous one. However, visiting helps me keep in touch with everyone, and maybe I'll have a better chance of staying close to the people here as well as the new friends I've met in Kansas. Maybe I'm closer to friends because the only family member I've ever really been close to is my mom. Who knows?
All in all, I'll take what I can get and I hope it turns out well in the end. ^^
