Hmm... Regarding my favorite genere of super robots?... I perfer clunky, classical robots, like the ones Big O is styled after, or more so Mazinger Z (Basically, Retro Super Robots)

I would consider Mech Suits/Robot Armor a Brand of Mecha branding.... and, well, so does the Super Robot Wars series, which sorta defines whats a super robot and what is not |3;

They has been many'o times that I wanted to draw such super robots... and, well, have, of course, so I would say yes!

I find giant mecha's quite the fantastic genere, if I am to be hounest!

Mazinger Z is a great series that doesn't get the love it deserves
along with Getter Robo and such
I thought Panda Z was a great take on a classic haha

Also I feel the same way with the second one, and true super robo series does
declare what a super robo is haha
I'm just wondering because its been a question of mine
since /m/ considers Kamen and Ironman mecha

Yes, Mazinger Z and Getter Robo are such fantastic series... I have heard of Panda Z here and there, but not had a chance to actually look at it!

Hmm... Regarding IronMan and Kamen Rider, they are not Mecha's, per say. I mean, regarding Kamen Rider, he is not a Mecha character, since... well, he is a Henshin Character, but he does not really summon giant Mecha's of the like in the classic series, only vehicles (and I wouldn't ever consider a Bike, no matter how awsome it is, as a Mecha!). Regarding Iron Man... Well, I wouldn't go far to say that American characters cannot be Mecha Characters, but he is more so a super hero with... well, a suit. He is essentially BatMan, Really!

Regarding the design of your robot character for, keep in mind that the Super Mecha has to be an extension of the character himself, in terms of aresenal and basic design!

1) Favourite super robot series? I have several: GaoGaiGar, Getter Robo (particularly Armageddon, for grittiness), Tengen Toppa Gurren-Lagann. Perhaps also Tekkaman Blade, if you consider powered armours a kind of mecha, and then Blade would definitely be a super robot type (hell, he was even in Super Robot Wars and kicked ass).

2) Yes, I do consider stuff like powered armour a type of mecha.

3) I am in no position
