Yeah, so fox is reasonably pleased with himself right now.
Today was a crazy day- processed 2 accidents literally one right after the other. I'm heading back to the station and stopped at the intersection before the PD driveway returning to do the paperwork. At this time a call comes over the radio dispatching 2 patrols out to a possible violent domestic disturbance in progress. I see one patrol shoot out the driveway so I move into the intersection with my lights on to block traffic for him. He zips past and I figure may as well follow. I call myself en-route and now both our cars are heading cross post.
We get over to the residential zone and kill our lights&sound. Dispatch has put out an update that the subject, a 16yr old little shit who just beat up his 12yr old brother (who recently had open heart surgery) has left his residence and may be heading to a friend's place in the area we're traveling through. The other patrol splits off and shortly after I spot an individual matching subject's description down the end of a street. I stop, he stops and sees me, he takes off towards the woodline. I hit on the lights again and zoom down to the end of the road he was at. Left my car in the road and took off after this kid, the other patrol sees me and does the same after.
We chased this kid thorough back yards for about a mile before he loses us ducking around houses. We sweep the area but no luck. Head back in the direction of our vehicles canvasing residents as we go. I find one dude who says hes possibly seen the subject running and gives me a direction. Sure enough while driving a few blocks down I see a kid, again matching the description, walking along the sidewalk aimlessly.
This kid says hes seen the subject running and encourages me to head further down the street. I ask for his ID, he says he doesn't have it but gives me a name. I ask for his address, hes forgotten it. Phone number, doesn't know it. Another patrol comes and positively IDs this as the subject. Military is disturbingly soft on juvenile offenders, so we're handing this over to New York State Police. Got put in cuffs and taken off to county lock-up. Being charged with aggravated assault for what he did to his brother, but also resisting arrest since he fled after I identified myself and also being charged for making false statements to a police officer since he didn't give me his real name. Have a great life, little shit =]

You also have the kids that regardless of what you do are just psychopathic shits too. At 16, this kid could be any one of those.
