Reason for lack of more finished art

Hey there folks!
Sorry for the lack of more finished pieces as of late. The end of September and all of October has brought in a huge influx of small costuming orders (which is awesome), so I've had my hands full with that along with the smaller commissions I've been posting. I wish this would last, but I know that it's going to go poof after Halloween.
On the bright side, even with taking a bigger hit than I thought with property taxes, I've still managed to set aside some extra cash thanks to that rise in costuming orders. I'm about halfway to being able to afford the much-needed replacement for my current laptop. After that, it'll be back to all the money gained from commissions going toward trying to pay off student loans.
Anyway. Plans in the sort of near future for art and so on (if I don't get more commissions) include finishing the plant painting series and seeing what I can do about making some larger costume pieces to sell. I've also got some ideas for pieces I'd like attempt just for myself (one of which is the direct result of reading a bunch of 80's sci-fi...).
