Hotel Meet Cancelled

IRC Channel: #MNFurs (irc.furnet.org) I'm sorry guys, I've been incredibly busy, I haven't gotten much time to keep up with things, so here's my attempt at bringing things back up to speed.
Quoting from the mnfurs webpage:
Because of the problems negotiating with the hotel and not being able to afford alternative locations MNFurs Halloween event has been cancelled.
Any money that was planned to be used for this event will be used to reserve the picnic space for 2011 and to be used on other future event.
MNFurs hopes to have some future events after the busy holiday season like last year’s winter event.
MNFurs will still have it’s usual Saturday meet on October 30th. 2010.
So yeah. Same old meet as always.
We still should do some sort of off-meet, in my opinion. If the bonfire thing doesn't appeal to everyone, we could always arrange something smaller and simpler like a Mall of America get-together some weekend.

The smaller get-together sounds good, not to mention a little more accessible to those of us who lack four wheels of our own.
