Shank is -not- an indie game! No, I don't care how few people they put on the project, anything that begins its trailer with a big ol' EA logo is automatically forfeit from consideration in the indie genre. I mean, they own like half the industry by now! They don't make indie games, they eat the people who do!
Which is not to say it's not a perfectly fine game. It may or may not be.
But it should stay the heck out of genres that it doesn't belong in.
S'pose I should update or something while I'm hear.
Lifewise, I've been rather busy due to band and schoolwork. Also, my chest has been killing me. See I had bronchitis which, combined with my crappy school chair, caused a fit of pleurisy. Those of you who go to look it up, ignore what the wiki says, because it lies to your face. The diseases that trigger pleurisy can be dangerous/ need fluid draining if they're pnemonia/ may kill you. Pleurisy itself is not dangerous at all. Just excruciatingly painful. As in, most people confuse them for heart attacks painful. So that's been kind of debilitating.
It's mostly better now (knock-on-wood), and life goes on. Also, I may be getting a new computer for school. Yay. c:
Artwise, I have many, many doodles that I can't scan, and unfinished works that I'd like to finish but never seem to before hopping away to something else. I'll probably start posting a few of those, as well as a couple things I have forced myself to -mostly- complete shortly.
Also, all of you, go hassle
Sirfy for commissions. She's doing absurdly inexpensive commissions, does good work, needs the money, and is a good friend of mine.
... And, because I know how y'all work, she is willing to try drawing new things for these, and push her drawings skills. Hopefully to new levels of excellence.
So go. Now.

Now then, all of you who did not click on Sirfy's icon, I would like for you to find a pen or pencil, place it between your middle and ring finger of a hand, then close the fingers of that hand by squeezing them with the other to preoccupy your time while everyone else views her great artwork and places their commissions.
You may have noticed, had you done this, and done it correctly, that this really hurts.

I gotta say, those are awesomely cheap commissions, and whoever's truly into commissions would be a fool to pass those up. A FOOL! With a sore hand.
Glad you're starting to recover from your malady hun. You don't need that on top of everything else you gotta do. :<
I'll certainly be commenting if you start postin' stuff. :P And as for Sirfy...well, you know. Certainly are good prices, but I don't have a cent to my name at this moment...
I did click and look over her stuff though! :< So I don't have to do the pen thing. Owie. Guan popped my fingers earlier (it's sort of a weird habit of his), and since I don't do that to myself normally they now hurt a bit. >>;

My fingers pop like mad ever since that time I jammed them all playing soccer that I told you about. They get a little numb afterward, but it's the only way I can keep them from locking up...
And...steam is stupid...haven't you figured that one out? ;)
I think it's more EA is stupid, and their influence is slowly starting to corrupt Valve a bit.
But, hey, the computer actually seems VERY likely, and possibly very soon to come! We might be playing L4D again soon. ^^

An SSD would help, but they cost 350 more dollars for one with about half the hard-drive space of a basic drive, so...
That sounds pretty bad, and that's not all wikipedia is wrong about. Cool about possibly getting a new computer.

Aye. I was looking up the Red Baron for a report for school once, and they had listed that he was a pilot in WWII. "Wiki dear... I'm afraid you have the wrong war."
Yeah. And I was looking up types of chickens, and it listed Rhode Island reds as very friendly and excellent birds. Those things are complete assholes. Every one I know that's had them come to the same conclusion. And further down in the article on wikipedia it goes and mentions that they are short tempered and are easily aggravated by children.
