Yoshi the rat didn't make it. :c

If you've been paying attention, I got two rats last Friday.....
Scabbers and Yoshi. Yoshi has been sick since last Sunday...At first we thought it was an upper respiratory thing. But he wasn't showing any of the signs like raspy labored breathing...
Last night I noticed he was especially lethargic, cold, and his tail was turning blue. My step-mom guessed he had congestive heart failure from all the stress of moving from one home to the next.
I went out today, when I left he was just laying there, but still breathing. I left at 2 and got home at 8:40-ish...by then, he was gone. Cold and stiff.
*sigh* At least he isn't suffering. He'll be buried under the peach tree where my dad buried our rescued stray, Stormy.
On the bright side, Scabbers is fine. Active, bright eye'd, and happy. Just gotta convince him that fingers =/= food -_-

I lost Romeo on Thursday night... So, I know the feeling. I've lost quite a few rats. ;;
I know it seems heartless...But I can't dump money on a rat I've had for a week....
If you can't avoid the vet, don't get the pet. Not to be mean.
Well I guess he's not in pain anymore.
