Sean Pertwee - The New Doctor Who

Yes, Sean Pertwee.
I know Matt Smith is the new Eleventh Doctor, but I don't care. I've seen a bit of him, and I don't really... like him as much as David Tennant. But still, out of all the actors who could have played the New Doctor, I don't think anyone should do it more than Sean Pertwee.
Why?
Because he's the son of Jon Pertwee, the legendary actor who played the THIRD Doctor. Yup, the Pertwee family is a family FULL of actors and entertainers. Sean Pertwee, in particular, is one of the greatest actors I've ever seen, and definitely one of the most underrated. Have you ever seen Dog Soldiers? I mean fucking hell!
You may have seen Sean in films before. Here's just a few of the popular films he's been in:
Dog Soldiers
Equlibrium
Doomsday
Event Horizon
Formula 51
He's also a damn good voice actor. He was in Killzone 2.
Anyway, I'm just saying, Sean Pertwee, more than ANY other actor on the planet, should be Doctor Who. He certainly has the acting ability and charisma to play the character. And really, out of all the actors in the running to play the Doctor, Sean Pertwee seems to be at the forefront. LOADS of Doctor Who fans want to see him as the Doctor, especially me. There's even an online petition going on to get Sean Pertwee cast as the new Doctor.
Really, if anyone should play the Twelfth Doctor, Sean Pertwee should. No one else. Period. I want to see Sean Pertwee playing the Doctor. I mean, really, he LOOKS just like his father, Jon Pertwee, who again, was the Third Doctor.

His father was one of my fave doctors from the old series.
But still he would make a great Doctor!
I'd like an older Doctor again and for 12 Sean may just be perfect.
Also he does have a wonderful voice. You hear it throughout Equilibrium. Just a note though, I wouldn't trust anything The Sun says about this. They're like Britain's version of the Weekly World News. :-P
Speaking of the sons of Doctor Who actors, Patrick Troughton's son, David, is the professor in Midnight. Look away and listen to his voice, he sounds remarkably like Patrick.
I'll tell you what else I'm still unhappy about. Christopher Eccleston only in one season. One season. I still can't believe that. But most people have probably forgotten about him now. :( I liked him a lot, too.
I'd forgotten anout Tennant within a week of watching Matt Smit! Maybe I'm fickle or its because I've been through this so many times before. I love the character and there's no Doctor I really dislike.
Also, Cruelty is halfway finished with the mixing phase. :D
