Not On This Account Anymore!!!
So...
As most of you may or may not know, I'm FTM transgendered. That means I was born a chick but have always felt like a dude, acted like a dude, wanted to be a dude, etc...
Well the good news is, I finally get to start my therapy. It will be awesome. Soon after it will be hormone therapy and all desired changes will be fulfilled...aside from the chest issue.
I need to get a new binding shirt because all of mine are too worn out OR don't bind well enough (curse being well-endowed). Any crossplayers or FTMs know of any good binding shirts for the big chested folks?
They cost around $30-40 USD from underworks.com...and I need to save up the money for one again :\ but this time I'm gonna really need it. It's gonna be obvious once those hormones kick in and I don't like getting funny looks.
So...it's finally happening. Hopefully it won't take me TOO long to save up money for the top surgery. I don't plan on getting bottom surgery any time soon and possibly not at all. The risks involved are too great.
Would it be bad to start a donation pool for my savings account? I don't care if anyone donates or not, but it might help. Maybe in the future. I'll think on it. I normally hate taking donations.Maybe just a donation pool for a binding shirt or something. (Had some extra cash in my paypal and bought one the other day c: ).
Anyway...as always I thank you guys (my watchers on both Champ AND Champford) for being my fans and friends and I appreciate all the support you've given me over time. I hope you'll stick around.
Love,
Champ

No, I'm not a girl. I was born a girl, but I certainly don't feel like one.
In body, yes. I am. For now.
Some people are just curious. Haha.
There are also a few other ways, if you can't afford a binder, to safely bind: a back brace (I think in the UK, they're called 'kidney belts'?) is one safe way, with a tight sports top over it. Another is just the double sports top solution. It might not do as much for a larger chested guy, for for myself and a few friends who are in the medium range, it's worked well. You DO want to avoid doing things like binding with duct tape or an ace bandage; the tape is inflexible, and you can do serious damage to your ribs. The ace wrap, while both convenient and easy to explain if you're trying to go stealth, is also quite dangerous, as the wraps are meant to immobilize broken or injured joints- they contract with movement and WILL damage your ribs (I cracked a rib this way, sadly).
If you go through Underworks, I recommend either this: http://www.underworks.com/983.html (though bear in mind that it MAY ride up, depending on your size) or this: http://www.underworks.com/988.html (with this one, I would suggest taking the bottom part and folding it up once you have it on).
Also, a tip for binding with a compression shirt/vest: once you have it on, reach up into it (from the bottom edge), secure one 'side' at a time, and smooth it to the side, and then down. Repeat with the other lumpy offender. Pulling them outwards and down will help to smooth them, and will give you a more streamline look. You may also want a tanktop or white undershirt over the compression to hide the lines.
And last (but not least!), congratulations! I hope that your transition is easy, and that you feel more confidant and comfortable with the right hormones. It's a big step, and even though I don't know you, I'm very, very happy for you. If you need ANY other advice (like what kind of packers are the best, where to get/how to make a good STP device or any of that), feel free to send me a note! I'm an open book, so don't worry about asking questions, even if they might seem strange or personal. Anything I can do to help, I will. Good luck!!

Hopefully it'll be mostly remedied soon.
You've got some cheerleaders over here that are almost as excited as you <3
Cheers <3
Good to know.
And that would suck about the chest issue :| I'm no use in that area I'm afraid.
I'll definitely commission you more in the future to contribute. I APPROVE OF YOUR CAUSE <3
Well...I'm Bruce Willis...so...
Especially not if Bruce Willis and Bruce Campbell join forces.
But good luck with that and I hope you get something that'll work!
